Rules

North Georgia Rally/Race rules.

1. Any scooter....moped...motorcycle must be street legal. Most's states do not require a license plate....tag or insurance for 50cc vehicles.....but all states require a drivers license.

2. You are required to start the rally at the direction of the race steward....so that your starting time can be recorded. Competitors will be started at one minute intervals.

3. You are required to stop at each designated checkpoint so that you elapsed time can be recorded...down to the second. There can be as many as four checkpoints along the rally/race route. You are required to stop at each checkpoint. You time will be recorded when your front wheel comes to a complete stop.

4. When you leave a checkpoint you must leave when the checkpoint person tells you to leave. The checkpoint person will always have you leave on the minute mark...and he will record that exact minute.

5. Each section is considered a "race". Your start time and stop time are recorded by synchronized clocks provided to the checkpoint personell by formula50racing. You may rest at the end of each checkpoint or make repairs. Your rest time does not affect your race times...or your overall rally times.

6. Please follow the driving laws of the State we are riding. Although our 50cc bikes...scooters and mopeds.....can hardly.... if ever....exceed the posted speed limits.....please ride safely and courteyously. We do not want local law enforcement to be unhappy with us.

Deal's Gap Rally/Race rules

1. Same as North Georgia Mountain Race/Rally rules with these exceptions.

2. At the Gap ONLY,......you must stay in your own lane except to pass when legal. A control rider will follow each entrant from a safe distance behind to insure each competitor stays in his own lane on every timed run.

3. At the Gap only,.....each competitor can practice the course as many times as he feels necessary until the official timing is to begin.

4. The Gap is considered two races. One race is run from the Crossroads of Time Store to the Dam. And one race is from the Dam....back to the store.

5. At the Gap Race/Rally,.... any competitor can ride in two different classes. Or different competitors can ride the same bike in the same class.
